Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is a non-profit organization leading the improvement of healthcare throughout the world. IHI was founded in 1991 and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Institute helps accelerate change in healthcare by cultivating promising concepts for improving patient care and turning those ideas into action.
Transylvania Community Hospital routinely participates in initiatives recommended by the IHI. Below are some measures we have implemented, as a direct result of our participation in IHI initiatives.
