Welcome to Transylvania Community Hospital

TCH is a not-for-profit hospital located minutes from downtown Brevard and
close to the entrance of the Pisgah National Forest in Transylvania County, North Carolina. Formed in 1933, TCH is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and is licensed to care for patients in our 94-bed facility. Transylvania Community Hospital has a medical staff of over 40 active physicians and 80 courtesy and consulting physicians with a wide range of medical/surgical capabilities including Acute Care, Diabetes Education, WorkWell Occupational Health, Wound/Ostomy/ Continence Care, Labor and Delivery, Critical/Intensive Care, Outpatient Services, Rehabilitation Therapy, Home Health Care and Transitional care.
Our basic mission is to assume a leadership role in organizing, collaborating, coordinating and providing a quality health care delivery system to serve the residents of Transylvania County and surrounding areas .
